Duty Monitress

All Grade 7 learners at WGJS have the opportunity of participating in the leadership of the school and of learning valuable skills. All learners volunteer to become monitresses They are then assigned duties for the whole year. Among the duties for which they are responsible are:

• Telephone duty
• Class monitors
• Clothing shop
• Recycling
• Computers
• Tuckshop
• Tech crew
• Flags
• Flower arranging
• Passages
