The library is up and running and an exciting place to be at Wynberg Girls’ Junior School. Girls are encouraged to read widely and regularly. All the classes from Grade R to 7 have weekly lessons, learning about books, how libraries work and, of course, reading! There is a different theme in the library each term – displays and tasks focus on that particular topic. In the afternoons, girls can do research, read or complete their homework, while they wait for their extra-murals or for their transport home. “WE ARE A READING SCHOOL”
