Media Education

The library is up and running and an exciting place to be at Wynberg Girls’ Junior School. Girls are encouraged to read widely and regularly.

All the classes from Grade R to 7 have weekly lessons, learning about books, how libraries work and, of course, reading!  There is a different theme in the library each term – displays and tasks focus on that particular topic.

In the afternoons, girls can do research, read or complete their homework, while they wait for their extra-murals or for their transport home.
